I've always been afraid of it and it's finally happened; i've just been brownboxed .・゜゜・(/。\)・゜゜・. and i've no idea what i did wrong! I don't know which item was illegal, i don't see anything deleted T____T. None of the items that i've modelled myself seem to be gone, like i always thought would be illegal? SOB

OMG really? I'm so sorry to hear that T.T can't we do something like asking what item that illegal or something? have you checked your email if they send some notifications to you? Edit: I'm sorry if this sounds like pouring oil to fire but I just visit your poupee to find out what's going on and I found this picture, maybe we are not supposed to wear it? sorry if I'm wrong But it still there so it should not be the case but I try not to post anything when I wear them because I've hear someone saying that it could be consider illegal as well

Thank you for your sympathy ( 。・_・。)人(。・_・。 ) I've received two e-mails, an Alert Warning and a Warning but as far as I can tell they say about the same thing. Supposedly what I did wrong was this: ・Posting photos that are not on the chart which shows what you can post.(*1) ・Other actions that are against the rules and regulations and the guidelines for sending contributions. As far as I can remember I've never posted a photo in the wrong category, or a photo of an item that is not allowed, but I've been playing since 2007 and have a huge closet so who knows right? ;_____;. Maybe the second rule I "broke" was logging in on someone else's computer? Winston has commented on my items but has also logged into my account to buy me jewels a couple of days ago, maybe it's that? But her account is still fine so I doubt it? I've googled some and all you can do really to get your account back is this sites.google.com/site/poupeegirlfaq/j-accountsD;

Well, at least we know that modeling photos is allowed as long as your face isn't visible and it's not too "revealing" though XD. That is, when the pupe staff deletes the photos for you (which I am assuming right now but I've asked the LJ community just in case btw).
Yes I did send it! Hopefully all goes well and hopefully not too many of my items have been deleted! I just hope my kimono and raingear collection is still intact ;_____;
They've also taken away about two thirds of my ribbons but luckily I didn't have that many... I'm assuming that if I had a lot of illegal items or photos they'd have taken away all of my ribbons but I don't know! This is so confusing T_T

Omg, looking at my profile I see that my background has changed so they've probably taken that away? That's okay, I can buy it anew. But again, I hope they didn't take any rare items that I've worked SO HARD to attain ;_____________;

I've heard a million things about being brownboxed. but I do know that modeling, no matter what, is risky. I don't think it's allowed at all, honestly. just because you have images that are still up doesn't mean anything, it's still a risk and many people have had their modeling photos removed. I am not sure what photo removal by them is based off of, but sometimes people don't get all offending pictures removed. I say this because I remember seeing a post not too long ago on the lj community by someone who was brownboxed, and people found photos that were against the rules that poupee girl did not remove. someone said this was because poupee girl only removes reported images. I don't know, I'm not the expert. I just tend to go by the general agreement of modeling items in your photos not being allowed. so I'd say you were at risk of being brownboxed because of that, but you took that risk. that said, I'd never report anyone with photos of stuff modeled.
still, I am very sorry you're brownboxed. >: and hope you didn't lose anything rare.

Oh yes, I knew I was at risk but I think it clearly doesn't say anything at all about modeling photos imho I wonder who reported me! D;

maybe not, but they don't explicitly say you can model stuff either. who knows. I just know a lot of people have had their photos removed and they were modeling items, even just stuff like rings. poupee girl is crazy and should have more clearly stated rules and be more clear with brownboxing reasons.
I get paranoid just over some of my old photos with other stuff in the image. most were replaced but there's a few I didn't get to replacing yet.

I already got a reply back to the e-mail I've just sent! I should send another e-mail in ten days. Omg NOOOOO ;_;. I'm so sorry for you D:.
A few days a go I did a pairs with someone, and afterwards she sent me a message that I shouldn't model clothes because it was illegal. So I checked the rules again & I could only find the face rule as well. But still, maybe if someone thinks its illegal and reports you, that the staff will act on it for some reason?? ;_;
I can't make head nor tail of that email... Maybe you should post it in Japanese somewhere and see if someone can translate. Or check the brownboxed tag in the lj comm? I'm sure there are posts from people who got the same one?

Hey, isn't that sheer top gone from this post?? Maybe I just can't find it because I don't know when you posted it, but that might be it because you were modelling it & its seethrough?

Yeah I think that's what happened (re: someone thinking it's illegal and reporting me!) D;. I've had a lot of poupées come up and say that to me. I shouldn't have accepted all those friends T-T. It's so hard to weed through the brownboxed tag on the LJ community though. There's SO MUCH info and non-info ugh. I made a post there (with an account I made on a whim and then never used XD (I just wanted that username all of the sudden :'D)) hopefully someone will be able to shed some light on this ;_;. The e-mail seems to be a standard mail though see here: sites.google.com/site/poupeegirlfaq/j-accounts

Yeah it makes sense. If just modelling was a problem I feel like they would've already most of your pictures by now?
Also lol I know your closet way too well XDD.

Yes it makes sense T-T. Well at least we now know that modeling clothes is definitely okay but you should be a prude about it! (Not that there's anything wrong about it, I'm just saying: think of strict "moral codes" as pupe says!)
Haha I'm so glad you know my closet well, I don't think I would've figured it out. Do you happen to know how many items I had in my closet because I totally can't remember? XD

Isn't it in the rules somewhere that you'll get taken 1 item and 20 ribbons per violation? I should have 32 violations then! D; But I've no idea what.... could it be that the sheer top was just a BIG violation? IDK ;_______;

To me it sounds like what happened is that someone reported the image (probably either because the bra bothered them or they were just being a snob and enjoying the power of reporting someone) - but, while that wasn't the only problem item you have, it's the only one Poupee took away. I'm not sure why they took away so many ribbons in that case, though...
Either way, though, I'm pretty sure modeling is off-limits no matter what. It might not be explicitly prohibited anywhere, but much in the same way you can't post anything that isn't explicitly allowed, you can't assume it's safe to do anything that isn't within the strict list of what's allowed. (I even edited pictures where I was just holding nail polish bottles because I was worried...)
The only time it's safe to show your body is when you're taking pictures of nail art

(sorry about my english) OMG, that bad news! x___x
The poupée is very vague regarding the rules. So better sinning by careful! I've also seen some poupées being brownboxed by posting photos modeling some pieces, so it's best not to risk it. I need to remember something important, we also have to be careful about other pieces that may appear in the photo.
For example, if a picture will show a shoe modeling, we have to remove the stockings. This also goes for jackets and belts and others. It's prohibited to posting coordinates. The photo is only for one item.
I do not want to expose you, so I will not point out your photos here. But if you want, I can send you a private message with a few pictures that can cause you problems.
I've been locked out and know what you're going through. But stay calm because everything will be alright. I can help you in relation to the unblock, I'm used to help many girls with that, there in Forum PGB.
Did you received the first email from them, right? You must respond within 10 days, so please reply as soon as possible! You must answer this (you can copy and paste there, this is an e-mail that all poupées use):突然のメールで失礼致します。 (Date when you were brownboxed)にプーペガールから『投稿禁止措置解除について』のメールを受けとりました。 私のIDは(Name of your poupée)で、プーペガールに登録頂いているメールアドレスは(The e-mail address that you use in your poupée's account)で、ホームページは(Your poupée's profile link)。 利用規約と投稿ガイドラインを又読みました。ルールを破らないように約束します。投稿禁止の解除をどうぞ宜しくお願い致します。 (Some characters were strangers, but you can see the message here, or you can give me your email so I can send there) Remove the parentheses and send. The translation is: "Sorry for the sudden email.
I received an email from Poupée on XX. My login is XX, the email I use on poupée is XX and XX is my link.
I read the terms of use and upload and promise not to break them. Please unlock my account."
That done, you will receive an email from them, in which they warn the your poupée will be unlock. This process takes on average 15 days.
Let us informed about any news! I'm here to help! <3
And I loved the comments help idea :3
