Um, yeah. Lolita. : D I am in love with the style, and I have four lolita items. (I have posted two of them to my pupe closet, actually.) My favorite brands are Angelic Pretty and Baby, though I'm leaning towards some off-brands as of late.
So, uh, talk about lolita stuff here. It can be stuff about new prints, new stores opening up, or some things you got a good deal on or something. Or maybe you'd like to advertise a closet cleaning or something. As long as it's about lolita and we have fun, we can talk about anything. : D

I don't wear it - I'm too self-conscious but mostly too poor - but I love the style ;3; my favorite brands are Mary Magdalene, Victorian Maiden, and Juliette et Justine. I like offbrand stuff lately too, but I don't know any indie store names off the top of my head, I just follow a few tumblrs that post images from them.

I think it's a lovely style, but I'd never be able to pull it off, haha.

I love lolita so much but it's really too expensive for me D;
I have a list of lolita items I dream about, that's mostly early 2000-ish? and Angelic Pretty that I hope to some day recreate somehow though the items are way too complex for my sewing skills XD

I used to be a lolita: The bag doesn't match, it was just convenient to bring it around at the convention for the stuff I was buying, but anyway. The International community was so mean, I was unable to continue to wear it at the office (got a promotion) and it was really expensive. So I stopped and I'm selling all of my stuff, almost done. It hurts to sell everything as some dresses took me over a year to find but I see it as a great experience in my life, now it's time to move on and give the opportunity to other girls to own these dresses! Also, I sold most of them in my city, so I can still see them =P

The International community was so mean. yes, I experienced it in the same way. I think I was into lolita for about a year or 2, but I found the other girls so mean and unpleasant to be around. and, when I (or someone else) adressed this they said that you had to be lolita because of the style, no matter if you found the community nice or not. of course the style is most important, but sharing this with a group of people who are also interested is half the fun. unfortunately I never managed to find some friends who liked lolita and where a bit more relaxed about it so I stopped wearing it, I went more into the (cyber) goth direction. it did leave me with some good things though, I started to sew because at first I could not afford the clothes, and I still love to sew. and it gives me some great inspiration! especially when I did more research to fashion history. in the end I am just a sucker for lace and ribbons that's me, I guess that was 2009. I loved that skirt...I should have kept it.

Aww, that stinks for the both of you. :c I do hear that a lot of girls leave the lolita community because the people are mean.
There are actually a lot of lolita meet-ups at my local mall. : D I've seen a few girls walk around in them a couple of times, once when I went to my friends for the Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows Part 2 premiere, we saw four girls dress up in House-themed lolita. (Slytherin, Gryffindor, etc.) I hope that once I get a bit more lolita (which won't be for a very long time. xD) I'll get to go to meet-ups!

I used to be a "daily" lolita too, now I wear my items only during convention or some events. I wanted to open an handmade shop with my mom, but we both changed our mind. Recently I felt like wearing lolita clothes more often and I am planning to get some new cute shoes :3 I have always loved Innocent World and Alice and the Pirates items /o/ alicetama: unluckily all the communities can be mean DX I left the italian lolita ones because some people in there were way too obsessed with this fashion... @reimu, Ishje: love your pictures *3*
