What is your favorite make-up brand?
I use mostly Anna Sui, Sephora and L'Oréal =)
These work well on my skin, and Anna Sui is always rose scented, isn't is awesome? To have lips tasting roses *__*

I never wore a lot of make-up, but lately I've been practicing a bit. It's so difficult to put on for me, because I have really bad eyesight (& wear glasses) and bad coordination XD. I just buy cheap make-up at the moment, it'd be a waste to invest a lot of money in it right now. Maybe in the future, once I know what I like and can put it on well, I might invest in something more expensive if it's really good quality ^o^.
So feel free to recommend me products XD.

I like to use Covergirl and Almay. Their stuff is kinda pricey for me, but I have sensitive skin, and I find that those brands really work the best for it.
For more flashy stuff I use Hard Candy. They have this really great eyeshadow thing that almost looks like a lipgloss tube. It's super convenient to use if you're in a rush. : D

I use L'Oréal for mascara BB cream from Missha, Etude or Maybelline (i just tried the last brand and I actually love it)
I'm really addicted to Korean brands, because they are so amazing! The smell, packaging and how it works ; 3; (and the shops in Korea are just girlheaven!!)
And now I'm thinking about buying M.A.C. I tried cheap make-up but I came to conclusion that most cheap make-up isn't really working like how I want it. (Most Korean make-up are quite cheap considering how they work and feel~)

MAC is good and I definitely love maybeline
skooter: I also use glasses and for people who wear glasses they need to focus their make up in their eyes area. try to apply some eyeliner this will make our eyes bigger because wearing glasses will make our eyes smaller MAC has eyeliner that are easy to be use (forgot the name sorry) its like a marker that are easy to use if you still learning ^^

Cheap products are often a mess for sensitive skins. I don't have a sensitive skin, but using cheap make-up gives me a greasy skin and pimples... =(
L'Oréal and Maybeline are quite on the Middle quality, MAC is nice, a little more expensive, I tried them once but decided to go for Anna Sui.
Anna Sui is often expensive though, you sort of pay for the nice packaging... and for sensitive skin it's not a good idea as there is a lot of perfume in this.

I can not agree more with you. Some cheaper products are not even worth a penny because they ruin the skin :/ But Maybelline sure is a brand that have a good price and works well. I love the tattoo eyeshadow! I've just recently started to invest a bit more into makeup and Lancome has become my favorite. Since I don't use many products I prefer buying good quality once instead For those with sensitve skin I'd recommend Clinique. It's quite pricy but the products are amazing!

I don't use a lot of makeup, but I am a bit mascara obsessed. I hear Japanese mascara is top notch. Does anyone have any experience with it? Is it really any different than mascara from anywhere else?

frillish: I do not have experience with Japanese Mascara, so I can't tell you, but I heard the same about Korean make-up though, I was thinking about ordering some. I just have a bit of experience with BB Cream.
Riako: My friends recommend usually MAC and Anna Sui, I use True Match from L'Oréal though and I love it.

I just use mascara daily and some foundation around my eyes + eyeliner for special events :3 I have greasy skin and using too much make-up everyday will make my skin worse. I mostly use Kiko mascara with one-use brushes (since Kiko brushes are the worst), Kiko eyeliners with pointy sponge and my mom's Chanel foundation.
There aren't many good make-up shops in my city, the choice isn't the best one around >A<

I just have a bit of experience with BB Cream. I was also looking at some Korean make up recently. Mostly Etude House. It's not that expensive on ebay, so maybe I'll try something from them out.

For all you dolls who have sensitive skin; you should try coconut oil (or actually any oil, I've seen a lot of people use olive oil too but I prefer coconut because it's less greasy) as a make up remover. I found that make up removers were more of a hell for my skin than cheap make up was in the past!

I've never heard of using coconut oil as a make-up remover. I might have to try that some time.

I use coconut oil for my hair, it moisturizes and gives great shine! as make up remover I use olive oil sometimes though. I have also heard of mane people using coconut oil but some people with sensitive skin have had a hard time with it. it is good to try it out and see how your skin reacts.

Yeah I also use coconut oil for my hair (though recently I've been using jojoba oil more frequently)!
I have super sensitive skin and my skin loves coconut oil but of course the key to good hair and skin care is trying out what works for you and not mindlessly repeating instructions on a box or something like that. I am all for listening to your body ^o^

I can't use anything oily because it makes my sensitive combination skin even more oily and results in pimples. T_T That's why I I rarely wear make up. It just isn't worth the trouble even though I think it looks amazing.
I have invested in lipstain even though both lipstick and lipstain dry out my lips, it's easier to use something against dry lips when I'm wearing a lipstain. I also sometimes use concealer to cover up dark circles and the blue veins underneath my eye to make me look less tired.

Have you used actual oil though? I have the same skin and thought the same until I actually used it and I actually consider my skin far less sensitive now than I first thought!
Gah, I can never shut up about the wonders of natural beauty products XD

Can Argan Oil work as well? I use it a lot for my hair and hands!

Argan oil would work, but it is quite expensive aloe vera gel sometimes works for a sensitive skin as well, it is very soothing. it does not remove make up though I also have a problem with dark circles underneath my eyes

Gah, I can never shut up about the wonders of natural beauty products XD I once followed this diy recipe that used oil and sugar to cleanse your skin and it was the worst. I was so sad because a lot of other people said how great it worked for them. ;_;

I'd leave out the sugar because the sugar probably doesn't do anything magical but rub off dead skin cells which is great for some but veryyyy iffy for people with sensitive skin T-T. Def. stay clear of "scrubs"!

Def. stay clear of "scrubs"! I also have very sensitive skin but I sometimes use that diy oil and sugar scrub. Just don't scrub so hard and do soft circular motions. What kind of oil do you use? For my dry skin olive oil is like magic~

I think you could also use salt instead of sugar. salt grains are a bit finer and might not scrub as hard as sugar grains. I know salt is sometimes being used in soap bars, the so called salt soap bars.
