I'm wondering what kinds of event that Poupee and and Kath shop have ( the kinds of event that always there each year not the event that constantly changing)
and also what to expect for example the April fools ribbons (which I don't really get what this is about) etc
this is what I know so far (add some from skooter's and space's info)
October: Halloween event December: Christmas event, holiday stockings, New Year Kimonos January: Lucky bags February: valentine event, anniversary event, Spring items March: Graduation items, Graduation trip event, Cherry-blossom viewing April: April fools ribbons May: Rainy event June: Bride event Summer event: beach event (with swimwear) and a summer festival event (with yukata) July: 2nd Lucky bag, Tanabata September: Back to school
Annually: Thank you items for jewel, Rock items
I only hear Most of them so that probably wrong ^^ I do this just to know more about what to expect from poupee please share your knowledge and experience ;D thank you for your kind info^^

Hmm April Fools ribbons are a shell spring item that you can only get on April 1st. It's usually a cute hair ribbon, so I myself don't really get what is 'foolsy' about them? XD But lots of users save their shells up in March so they have a lot to throw in the spring in April, hoping to get a ribbon.
Some more events are: February: Anniversary! Poupéegirl was started on February 28th so there is usually an anniversary event during that time. May: Rainy event (my favourite!)
During the summer, but I don't know which months exactly, there is also always a beach event (with swimwear) and a summer festival event (with yukata).
That's all I know off the top of my head, so I might have missed some things ^o^.

In Februrary there have also been "Spring items" of some sort, and in March we've had Graduation items for two years in a row (although the year before last, they were jewels only). In March, there is an annual Graduation trip event.
In March, there is my favorite Cherry-blossom viewing event :) It usually has beautiful background and lovely items. (Including food items, omnomnom >:3)
In July, there is a second round of Lucky bags, and in September there tend to be "Back to school" items. Once a year there are "Thank you items" for jewel users and I think some sort of Rock items are an annual thing as well.
Also, June Bride comes before the summer events :) On the 7th of July, there's also Tanabata, which means new items in the shell spring (which usually include some kind of a a star wallpaper, a dress and a stole).

Is there also not a travel event of some kind? I remember there being Chinese items once and Swiss too! I think that was an equivalent of the Graduation trip event, they seemed to called it "Vacation event" before :)

There are ribbon catchers for make-up from time to time, like "Spring cosmetics", "Fall make-up" or so, where you can get new colors of eye-shadow, contacts and lipstick. They're not really regular and they come about once a year (at least it has been like that since 2010 when I first joined). As for mascaras though, they usually launch them in Katherine shop - the newest one came out in Date Items in February 2011, so it's not a frequent thing, I'm afraid ;_;
The super rare+expensive contacts and mascaras are from very old shops I think, I don't remember those but I'm sure someone else here will know :)
