I do not have any appropriate mori girl items myself, but when I look at the style I find it so cute. the colors that are usually combined are lovely. cremes and browns, or grey. just wondering, are there people here who wear mori?
what are nice shops for this type of fashion?

I love Mori Girl too! In the beginning of the style it was a bit more colourful and the layering was weird and divine, but I still like it! I googled some and found this for you guys mori-girl-sales.livejournal.com/I know there's also a lot of tumblrs for mori girl but some seem to have lost their quality so IDK, but I'm sure you'll find the shops where they sell specific Mori Girl in their descriptions or something ^o^. But I think you could also make it work with what you have, possibly? Check out your nearest and possibly most old-fashioned and thus cheapest thrift stores and try to find oversized lacy things and white old shirts and layer, layer, layer!

it is a good idea to have a look at some thrift stores I guess H&M would have loads of nice mori items, and maybe also shops like Bershka and pull&bear.

good idea froufox! i've spotted a couple of those tumblrs you mentioned and sometimes they point out something which can be found in a typical high street chain that could be appropriated for mori girl purposes, if good thrift stores are hard to come by. i've also spotted a market stall in town which has some drapey knits... but yes i should get a-layering, i think i need more dresses and skirts which means i should go shopping...i think i can manage that

I would love to see what you come up with nessquick and you said you knit, so I bet you can knit yourself some wonderful accessories!

I had a quick look in town yesterday, H&M did have some nice mori appropriate items! but I also went into Naf Naf and they had a lovely collection, loads of clothing with lace, in the right colors.

That is really cute. I want all of those clothes, especially the dress the girl on right is wearing in the top photo.
