It is open! You can enter until November 23rd ^^ Will you participate? I'm not that much inspired by this event, even though I like the background, but I might try!

I don't like any of the items, so I won't be, haha...
I have a questions about contests, though: are you supposed to use ONLY event items, or can you put other stuff in there too?

You can wear other stuff too ^^. It would be pretty boring otherwise, right? Edit: I'm not even sure if you have to wear stuff from the event, actually. But I haven't done a poupee contest in years so I'm not sure.
Anyway, I don't usually like the official poupee contests, so I probably won't participate.

If you don't have to wear from the event at all then I might be curious to try, haha, just to see how far I can get...
I don't tend to look like the winners, honestly; I don't think I have much chance because I don't like the kind of busy, high-clutter outfits that tend to win.

You don't have to wear anything from the event if you don't want to. The only requirement is the topic, and many people don't even worry about that xD;; Anyway I don't enter contests anymore, because it's bordering on impossible to win or even get further than the first round if you don't get any exposure. The round 2, 3 winners' outfits are almost always extremely cluttered and jewel items-heavy, which I don't have much talent/jewels to do anyway. Unofficial contests are much more fun!

Sometimes contests require you to use certain items, you can check it out by clicking on the button top right on the entry page ^^ But this one didn't require anything. I've entered almost every contest since I started playing a few years back, but my look doesn't appeal to the masses :3 I wish you received a ribbon per vote or something, I always enter and then just forget about it.

That ribbon per vote idea is really nice! At least that way you get a little something for participating, even if you don't appeal to everyone. If only...
