Why did you join the forum: I'd love to exchange information and fun facts with Poupée members from other countries and from Brazil as well. 

How did you find the forum: I followed the link Skooter has on her Poupée profile and found it all so cute I wanted to join!

Comment: Hope I can have fun with you and enjoy poupée even more. I joined poupée around 2008, so I guess I am a pretty old user, huh? I got super discouraged by the jewel thing, thought about leaving permanetly, sold tons of my old stuff. And suddenly, I decided to return because you know - poupée is really addictive, there's no such a thing like "just a dress-up, then I leave." 
So, I do miss old times when items were really there for commenting and we really folowed each other's closet, but you can live stuck to the past, so here we are. I think that's all.

Nice to meet you! I have not been on for long, but I can understand how the jewel thing could be discouraging. I am on a website who a few years ago introduced a money system with special money items as well. You kind of just have to role with it and like you said, not live in the past. Also Poupeegirl is extremely addicting and there really is no such thing like dressing up and then leaving. Anyways, I added you on Poupee and hope you enjoy the forum~!

Welcome, it's so nice to meet you! I definitely got discouraged by the jewel thing at first too, I was afraid it would prove the beginning of the end? With less and less quality items, and the whole thing just becoming an extensive ploy to grab our money - but luckily it hasn't turned out that way at all, I really enjoy the direction the site has taken ^^ And since I joined here I've had even more fun, everything is so much nicer when you can share it with friends *-* I hope you enjoy yourself here as much as I have <3
